The assignment

The tasks, together with your colleagues, include among other things:

• Monitoring the operation of the facility
• Conducting control rounds
• Troubleshooting and reporting
• Performing operational maintenance
• Taking water samples
• Keeping facilities in good condition through cleaning and maintenance
• Staying updated on instructions and routines applicable to the operations.
• Installing and commissioning LTA pumps at property owners
• Handling customer inquiries in close collaboration with customer service
• Participating in meetings concerning internal and external issues

Additionally, you will participate in projects, actively contribute to workplace meetings and other meetings, and communicate well with colleagues.

What you need to bring

• Technical understanding – you need to have experience or education in water and sewage, operations, or similar technical fields.

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

• Operation and maintenance of water and sewage systems
• Working with pumps, control systems, or process monitoring

At wastewater southeast, you will be part of an engaged team of 11 people who together take responsibility for one of society's most important functions – managing and developing our wastewater systems. We are based in Norrtälje and Kapellskär, and for this position, Kapellskär will be your base.

Norrtälje Water and Waste is a limited company owned by Norrtälje municipality. On March 1, 2021, the company took over the operations from the water and sewage department and the waste management department of the municipality. Norrtälje Water and Waste has approximately 150 employees.
